designsafe Mobile® enables you to start a risk assessment on the shop floor, or capture a hazard and assess it on the spot using your iPhone or iPad.

designsafe Mobile® allows you to do an “on-the-fly” risk assessment. You can snap a picture of the machine or specific hazard. Next you can identify the users, tasks and the hazards associated with the task. Additionally you can work through the initial risk level, risk reduction methods and residual risk. You can mark the status of the situation as well as add any additional comments.

While designsafe Mobile® is a stand alone app, the results can be uploaded via import to our full featured desktop version of designsafe® 8 for further analysis. Similarly, if you have designsafe® 8 you can export the assessment to designsafe Mobile® on iPhone or iPad and take it on the go with you.
